How To Create a Trane® Home Account
You must create a Trane Home account in order to connect and control your Trane Home-enabled devices. It is recommended that you create your account using the Trane Home web portal, but it is also possible to create an account using the Trane Home mobile app.
In the Trane Home Mobile App

Download the Trane Home mobile app from the Apple App Store® or Google Play™ Store.

Launch the app and click Sign Up Now.

Enter your contact information and press Continue.

Select a challenge question, provide an answer, accept the terms, and click Continue.

The app will confirm that your account has been created. Press Continue.

Answer a few questions about your Trane Home purchase and press Submit.

You will be prompted to enter a promotion code. This is optional.

If you have a promotion code, enter the code in the text box and click Apply to complete registration.

If you do not have a promotion code, click I do not have a promotion code to complete registration.

Enter your desired PIN and then re-enter to confirm.

The PIN is unique to your device. If someone else in your household uses the mobile app on their device, they will use the same username and password, but set their own PIN.

The PIN is 4-digits long by default, but you can choose to use a longer PIN by tapping Pin Length and selecting another option.

Your account is now set up and you can begin to enroll devices.
On the Trane Home Web Portal

Go to www.tranehome.com and click Sign Up Now.

Enter your contact information and click Continue.

Please make note of the email address with which you are registering, as this will be one of the primary identifiers for your account should you need support.

Enter your home information and click Continue.

Please verify that all home information is correct to ensure that your system receives accurate time and weather information.

Enter your login information and click Continue.

You will be prompted to answer a few questions about your Trane Home purchase. Answer the questions using the drop-down boxes and click Continue.

You will now be prompted to enter a promotion code. This is optional.

If you have a promotion code, enter the code in the text box and click Apply to complete registration.

If you do not have a promotion code, click I do not have a promotion code to complete registration.

Your account is now set up and you can begin to enroll devices.
