The Weather on My Thermostat is Wrong/Not for My Location

If the weather, including outside temperature and radar images, is incorrect or for another location, you can easily change the location of the weather being displayed.

If the location has never been changed, your thermostat may be displaying the weather for Tyler, Texas (75707). 

NOTE: You will need to be at the location of the thermostat to complete these steps.  You cannot perform this task remotely from the mobile app or the web portal.

1. On your XL824/850/1050 Wireless Smart Thermostat, press Menu.
   
   
2. Select Weather.
   
   
3. Press Postal Code.
   
   
4. Clear out the current location setting, enter your zip/postal code, and press Apply.
   
   
5. The thermostat will now display the correct weather for your zip code.
