How To Override Schedules - Overview

Temporarily Overriding Schedules

You can override your schedules using one of three methods, each described in its own article linked below.

• Override Using Hold - use the Hold Options to override the schedule until a specific time or until you tell the thermostat to return to its schedule (Permanent Hold).  You must have Schedule Settings enabled to use Hold options.  If you need assistance, please see How To Enable/Disable Schedule Settings.

• Override Using Automations - create an Automation to change your setpoints for a specific amount of time, which you can then run as needed.

• Override Using Setpoints - manually change the temperature without changing hold settings, and it will hold until the next scheduled period.
