Enrolling a Nexia® Camera in Trane® Home
To enroll your new camera, you will need:
- to be at the location with the camera
- the power cord that came with the camera
- an Ethernet cable
- Some camera models require an additional Micro USB-to-Ethernet adapter, which is included in the box with the camera.
You can enroll your camera either through the Trane Home web portal or the mobile app. However, it is recommended that you enroll using the web portal to be able to set up your camera's wireless connection.

- Log into the Trane Home web portal.
- If you have multiple homes, select the home in which you are installing the camera.
- Press the green Add Devices button.

You should now see the camera with its new name and some option buttons. Press Setup Wireless to the right of the camera name.
-
The camera will begin searching for wireless networks. Select your network when it has been found.
-
Enter the wireless password to your network when prompted and press Continue.
-
The webpage will prompt you to disconnect the camera from power and Ethernet and then reconnect the power cable. Do this and press Continue once power is reconnected.

- Hold down the reset button (located on the back of the camera) until the power light on the back of the camera flashes.
- Allow the router to reboot fully, which may take several minutes.
- If the camera still does not connect, try a different Ethernet cable that you know works.
- If it still will not connect, plug the Ethernet cable into a different port on your router.
-
If the camera still will not connect to Trane Home, please verify/change the following settings:
- Ensure that DHCP is enabled.

FOR WIFI
- Verify the Encryption type. WCO200NX/WCP200NX cameras will not connect to WEP.
- Make sure your router is using 2.4 GHz.
