How To Fix AWAIR® Element™ Offline Status
On October 11, 2022, AWAIR revoked all of their Client Authentication certificates, which caused AWAIR Element devices to disconnect from Trane® Home and appear offline.
To reconnect your AWAIR device to Trane Home, you will need to reauthenticate the connection from Trane Home to AWAIR using the instructions below.:
- In the Trane Home mobile app, tap the menu icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Scroll down and press Connect New Device.
- Select Awair IAQ Monitor from the list of devices.
- Press Continue to launch the AWAIR login page in a browser window.
- Enter the email address and password associated with your AWAIR account and tap Sign In.
- NOTE:If you have forgotten your AWAIR password, please use the Forgot Password link above the Sign In button. Trane Home Customer Support cannot assist with recovering or resetting your AWAIR credentials.

- Once the accounts are connected, a message that Trane Home has successfully imported your AWAIR device will appear briefly at the bottom of the screen.
- The app will automatically return to the Dashboard, and your AWAIR Element device should be online, reporting, and accessible once again.
