Camera Will Not Connect to Wireless Network
Please follow the process below if your camera enrolled successfully in Trane® Home, works when connected to your router via an ethernet cable, and will not connect to your wireless network.

Review the setup process and retry.

- One step in the wireless setup asks that you disconnect the camera from both power and ethernet, then reconnect only the power before pressing continue. The camera won't be able to connect to wireless if this step is performed incorrectly.
- Please return to the portal to retry the wireless setup for the camera in question. For complete instructions, please see Using Your Camera on a Wireless Network.
- If the camera does not connect to your wireless network, please proceed to Step 2.

Check your password by testing another wireless device.

- Using the WiFi settings on another device, such as a phone or tablet, disconnect from your wireless network and forget the network.
- Reconnect the device to your wireless network and enter the password when prompted.
- If you cannot reconnect that device to the wireless network, you may be using the wrong password. Please contact your Internet Service Provider or the router manufacturer for further assistance.
- If the other device reconnects successfully, please proceed to Step 3.

Power cycle all of your network equipment and retry wireless setup.

- Disconnect the power cables from your camera, modem, and router.
- After 20-30 seconds, reconnect power to your modem and allow it to boot.
- When the modem has fully rebooted, reconnect your router.
- Once the router has fully rebooted, reconnect your camera to power only. Please do not reconnect the ethernet cable.
- Allow the camera 2-3 minutes to fully reboot, then retry the wireless setup.
- If the camera fails to connect to wireless, please call us for further network diagnostics and troubleshooting.
