Bridge Backup and Restore
Back up or restore your network using the bridge backup and restore feature. The primary design of this feature is to allow you to replace an existing bridge with a new one and not have to reconfigure all the devices and automations.
The Backup feature backs up the bridge configuration from your existing bridge. Restore will restore your Z-Wave® devices to the new bridge, and reconnect device names and automations to the restored devices.
You can restore to the same or "newer" bridge generation as the bridge your backup is from.

Restore Matrix
-
If the backup is from Generation 1, you can restore it to any newer bridge Generation 2-6.
-
If the backup is from Generation 2, you can restore it to any bridge Generation 2-6.
-
If the backup is from Generation 3, you can restore it to any bridge Generation 3-6.
-
If your backup is from Generation 5, you can restore it to any bridge Generation 5 or 6.
