How to Reboot Your Trane® Link (UX360) Thermostat
You cannot reboot a thermostat remotely. In order to reboot your thermostat, you must be in the same location as the device.
Please note that this article relates to Link (UX360) Wireless Smart Thermostats only. For instructions to reboot other thermostat models, please click the appropriate link below. |

- MAKE SURE THAT THE HVAC SYSTEM IS IDLE BEFORE PROCEEDING!
- On the thermostat screen, press Menu.
- Select Settings.
- Tap Reboot.

Press Yes to confirm and allow the thermostat to reboot. The reboot process will take several minutes to complete.

NOTE: You can also reboot Link (UX360) thermostats via the circuit breaker if you are unable to use the on-screen reboot process outlined above.

Locate the switch for your thermostat in the breaker box.

Flip the switch to the OFF position for 20-30 seconds.

Return the switch to the ON position.
- The reboot process will take several minutes to complete.
