How to Reboot Your Trane® XR724 Thermostat

You cannot reboot a thermostat remotely.  In order to reboot your thermostat, you must be in the same location as the device.

1. 1. MAKE SURE THAT THE HVAC SYSTEM IS IDLE BEFORE PROCEEDING!

1. 1. 1. Locate the switch for your thermostat in the breaker box.

      2. Flip the switch to the OFF position for 20-30 seconds.

      3. Return the switch to the ON position.

      4. The reboot process will take several minutes to complete.
