How To Unenroll Trane® Priority Thermostat
or Forget Network
Sometimes it is necessary to re-enroll the thermostat or reconnect it to the network. This is typically needed when a new router is installed or a new homeowner takes over a thermostat that was previously enrolled.
How To Unenroll
In the Trane Home Mobile App
The thermostat must be enrolled in the current homeowner's account before it can be removed from the app. If it is enrolled in the previous owner's account, please use the on-screen process on the Trane Priority thermostat.
-
Open the Trane Home mobile app. If there is more than one house associated with the account, select the house where the Trane Priority thermostat in question is installed.
-
Select the Trane Priority thermostat on the dashboard; if it is the only enrolled device, it will be selected automatically.
-
Select Settings in the lower right corner.
-
Choose Remove <System Name> from Trane Home.
-
A pop-up will appear requesting confirmation. Click the checkbox to confirm, and press Remove.
On the Trane Priority Thermostat
The thermostat can always be unenrolled using the on-screen removal process detailed below.
-
Select the hamburger button (3 horizontal lines on the upper-left side) to open the menu.
-

The screen will confirm that the thermostat is currently enrolled in Trane Home Cloud. Select the Unenroll button in the upper right corner of the screen.

A pop-up will appear requesting confirmation to proceed with unenrollment. Click Continue to unenroll.
