Energy Efficiency Rebates, Tax Credits, and QMID Information for Trane HVAC Equipment

To find information about specific tax-related manufacturer codes, commonly referred to as QM or QMID (Qualified Manufacturer ID) codes:

1. Click the tab labeled Learn About Rebates & Incentives.
   
2. Scroll down, and toward the bottom of the page, you will find a section titled Manufacturer's Certificates.  Under this section, there are three categories of equipment listed for possible tax rebates:  
   • Heat Pumps
   • Gas Furnaces
   • Air Conditioners  
3. Next to each of these categories, you'll see a link to download the equipment list certificate in PDF format.  In the list, you can find the QM/QMID code, along with the specific equipment and model numbers that qualify for the tax discount.  These files are also available for download at the bottom of this article.
